Ric Burns Documentary on Andy Warhol!

Ric Burns's new documentary on Andy airs tonight and tomorrow on your local PBS affliates. This is a must see documentary. The Andiis were able to view the documentary at Film Forum in Manhattan, and though a few things were annoying, all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed its balanced nature. Warhol was both loved and hated (even to this day), and Burns captures both ambiguous sides of the man. We say thanks to Ric for this American Master classic and urge you all to see it!

Is Meatspace the New Factory? Is Possible.

Andy A opened the Meatspace Gallery, located in a former smoked meat factory in a complex of kayaks, artists, recycled bicycles, art, and a magnificient view of the isle of Manhattan. (Soon to be obscured by mega-housing. Come to gallery now to see the art, the view, grab a bike, and go kayaking, too.)

You can read more about the space, the gallery, and the history of the building, here.
